Jintana Food has made it a top priority to produce confectionery of premium quality and reliability for both the Thai and export markets.  To improve product development, the company has been working with an internationally recognized expert in confectionery from Australia.  Jintana Food’s candies are consequently of a consistent and high standard.  Because of the company's commitment to systematic research and development, Jintana Foods has maintained high quality of current products while developing and and launching new products both domestically and on overseas markets.   The sucess of this strategy has improved the financial performance of the company and helped give Thai-made products worldwide acceptance and success.
Existing Products and New Product Development

Existing Products

 Presently, the company does produces a variety of gummies which are classified as below-

1)  Product Formulation
 Because of good technological support and a high level of experience, the company is producing gummy-based products in the lines of

  •  Pure Gelatin Formula
Since the gummy was first established in the market, the early pioneers produced the gummies only in this formula.  As a consequence, consumers perceive and are familiar with gummy products automatically.  According to a market survey, this type of formula dominates the market at a level of at least 50 per cent.
 Jelfy and Jelfy 2 Layers are our main products in this category.  Both are well accepted among the consumer.
  • Gelatin & Starch Formula
       After selling the pure-gelatin products for a certain time, our company among others learned that shelf life and quality could be improved in conditions where the products was stored for long periods at high temperature levels if a different formula were utilized.   As is well known, the average temperature in Southeast Asia and elsewhere is quite high and pure gelatin products can be damaged.  We therefore  modified the formula to solve this problem while still maintaining the normal delicious gummy taste.   This type of products is able to stand in the heat without melting easily.
  • Pure Starch Formula
Developing from the previous formula, pure starch products are quite new in the market.   Jintana Food is the first  company to  launch this product in Thailand thereby jumping ahead of other competitors.   This product also can stand in the heat.
  •  Aerated Formula
    Aerated formula is the latest product which is very new in the market.   Although it is new, Consumers have praised its softer texture and taste.   Consumer’s feedback for this product has been very favorable.
  •  Pectin Formula
2) Product Shape
  • Those involved in the industry realize that we can produce the gummy in any shape we like because it depends on the mold’s shape only.
  • The company’s current gummy shapes are listed as below -

  •   Fruit shape ; Grape, Strawberry, Apple, Orange and Pineapple
              Animal shape ; Elephant, Parrot, Crocodile, Rhino, Kangaroo,
      and Penguin
              Others ; Ring, Round, …, etc.
3)  Product Packaging
  • We are using several types of films as below -

  • PET, CPP, OPP and MCPP
  • Plastic tray

  • This is very new to our production line.   We recently added  a new packing machine which can be modified to pack the gummy in layers on the plastic tray and then wrap the product in the above films.
